Rilea Encampment
Rilea Encampment - 8/2/09 through 8/8/09
This is a multi-unit event run by Mr. Wilson and his Battalion staff. Lewis & Clark has no part in the planning or implementation phase of this encampment. We do plan on sending staff and YMs to this event to represent LCYM and as in past years it should prove to be a very fun encampment to participate in.
The event is scheduled for 2 August through 8 August 2009.
As in the past the encampment will probably have Land Navigation, Fire Arms Training (ribbon qualifications), Confidence Course, and Beach Recon. Rappelling went well last year and the year before the Motor Lifeboat experience was good so plans are underway to look at these events again for 2009. Including a tour of old Ft. Stevens as part of the beach day might also work out and have the beach recon at the Ft. Stevens State park.
The fee for this event will be the same as last year at $70 per person which would include all events, meals, and lodging. FAs can be, and are encouraged to be, utilized to pay for this encampment.

BE ADVISED: In order to attend this overnighter, you must be current on all your mandatory fundraising, you must have a PFT score entered in the database for Quarter 1 and Quarter 3, and you must have turned in a year-end report card. No exceptions. LCYMDir_12
